Gouache resist and India ink

These are made through a several step process.  First, I paint over the areas I want to stay light with white gouache paint.  That serves as a resist, for India ink which is washed over the whole thing.  Once it has dried, I soak the paper in warm water, and wash off the dried ink over the gouache, and then, once the washed-off paper dries, I go over it with pen and ink.  What I like about this process is the unpredictability of it.
